At an open house how can i seem knowledgeable even if I’m quite new?
ANSWER:
Don’t seem quite knowledgeable - Become knowledgeable!
Spend a few hours doing your research. know the comps. know the neighbourhood - schools, school ratings, subsidized housing complex’s, shops, Go stations, transit, prisons etc.
Know what other properties are competing with this open house.
Have sheets readily available of other properties that are of interest at this price point.
Keep from 4 to 6pm free just incase they want you to show them other properties.
Remember being an expert takes one step (area) at a time.
Refuse to be the agent that says ‘I don’t know’
