NEW - Toronto Municipal Land Transfer Tax (MLTT)

On September 6, 2023, City Council approved graduated Municipal Land Transfer Tax (MLTT) rates with additional thresholds for high value residential properties containing at least one, and not more than two, single family residences. New MLTT rates are effective for all transactions registered or upon which Municipal Land Transfer Tax otherwise becomes payable on or after January 1, 2024.
